Factory introduction
Founded in 1965 and in order to meet the needs of F-FDTL workers, cutting-edge scientific and technological development during the State's “3 by 5” period, Bottung Group Limited, formerly known as the “902” project code, was established as the 902 plant, which was renamed the “Phot and non-ferrous metal processing plant” in 1972 and attached to the Ministry of State for Metallurgy; transferred to the head of China's General Non-ferrous Metal Industries Company in 1983; transferred to China's rare rare earth groups company in 1999; decentralized to Shanxi Province in 2000 as part of the limited liability company of the Xantai Non-ferrous Metals Holdings Group; and converted the plant as a whole into the Botung Group Limited in 2005 to establish a modern enterprise system and rationalize State-owned asset management relationship.
After more than 50 years of development, the titanium group has now become the country ' s largest specialized scientific base for the production of rare metals, mainly titanium and titanium alloys, with three main industrial blocks, including titanium, equipment design and new materials, forming a complete titanium chain, ranging from sponge titanium mining to smelting, processing and deep processing, and equipment manufacturing, with the main product producing more than 40 per cent of the country ' s total production of titanium annually.
